I am running as a docker container on OMV. The media drive is an external USB drive and worked up until recently. The automatic library updates stopped around the time I noticed that pictures weren’t being tagged.
I suppose you could experience this if the host OMV is monitoring too many folders

Not a docker expert… might be interesting if there’s a difference running this on the host vs. inside the container…

It’s the 8192 from the article you posted. I’ve even spun up a separate instance and only added my Music folder as a library, testing it still isn’t auto-updating. I have all the scan options selected in the Settings so I’m not sure what is going on here.
Would logs help at all?
not sure; do you get those updates by triggering a manual library scan?
Yea, manual scans work fine. I just don’t understand what changed.
