Server Version#:1.32.1.6999
Player Version#:4.100.1
Tried to update my libraries as new films etc weren’t appearing on my Plex app on the terra-master (1.32.1.6999) but nothing changes. I can see and play my existing films OK but anything new added to the database doesn’t appear on Plex. Tried loading plex on my desktop but the same issue. No settings have been changed. Any help appreciated
Will likely need to see your server logs.
have you checked things like file permissions?
Thanks for replying
Permissions have not changed. I doubt there is anything in the system logs as no errors are being flagged
But here it is…I hope
Got exactly the same Problem on windows 10 it also flags seasons with a new episode added as missing and wants to delete them.
Also I just found out that the episodes labeled as unavailable are still playable, the trash Icon just transforms to a play button and the episode works as intended.
Just rolled back to Version 1.32.0.6950 and everything is working again
I’m on a Terra-master NAS and can’t see anyway to roll back. But I guess you’ve proven the point that its the Plex app thats the problem
@topgazza what was something that you added recently?
I did notice that you to have the Orville inside the Parks and Rec folder
Scanner: Processing directory /Volume1/Plex/TV Programmes/Parks and Recreation/The Orville/The Orville Season 2
That was weird. But I’ve corrected that, thanks for pointing it out ![]()
The two things Ive just added wwer The Meg, in movies. And Fireball XL5, in TV Programmes. I’ve tried moving them to other folders to see if anything changed but still no library update. I’d roll back my version but can’t see anyway of getting an earlier version for TOS5
here is a link the the 1.32.0.6950 version for TOS5
I see it shows permissions denied for Fireball

May 19, 2023 18:42:22.022 [140140490775352] DEBUG - [Notify] Caught exception on directory (Permission denied)
there is a boost error too which I am pretty sure there was a bug around recently. I’ll let folks know
May 19, 2023 18:42:35.967 [140140385045304] WARN - Error scanning directory, we'll skip and continue: boost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: Permission denied [system:13]: "/Volume1/Plex/TV Programmes/Fireball XL5"\```
Thanks BigWheel
I assume permissions are on the NAS for that file. Odd that it picks out the odd file/new file

Just installed the older version on my Terra Master but no joy. Checking the permissions on both the NAS and from my Mac finder I can’t see anything different from the other files ready there. Can you tell from the log where the permissions refusal was generated from ?
Just noticed a couple of older installed films are missing from Plex yet still on the NAS server. One of them for reference in Back To The Future III
The refusal would be on the NAS where server is installed. Unfortunately I’m not very knowledgeable in Terramaster and I think the folks who are have already gone for the weekend.
Looking at the files and the Permissions drop down on the Terramaster the “owner” is not the same as all the other files. Somehow when copying the files from my desktop to the Plex folder on the NAS it’s creating a different owner. No idea why and I’ll keep investigating
