I’m new to Plex. I am on Windiws 8.1. I finally got Plex to connect to my TV the other night. This wasn’t easy. It kept saying that I had to repair or delete the installation. After 2 days of this neverending cycle of trying to install the media server on my computer, I got it. It only installed after I created a folder on my desktop and installed it in that particular folder. I have no idea why.
Now I can create a library but Plex will not load it/recognize it. I have deleted and downloaded multiple files, added and deleted the libraries in Plex, relaunched the server, etc. Yes, I have the files stored and named in folders as directed by Plex. I have even tried naming the files in different ways but it makes no difference.
I am at a loss. I have tried to Google in every way I know how to but I can’t find a solution. Can someone please help me?
