Problem download Plex server

Ciao a tutti,
io chiedo aiuto per un problema che io non riesco a risolvere e sulla comunity non ho trovato alcun argomento su questo problema.
Io ho usato Plex perfettamente per n anno circa. Poi ho disinstallato e reinstallato Plex perché avevo dimenticato la password di accesso e quando scarico il programma e lo installo non riesco a inserire le librerie perché ogni volta che tento di farlo si apre sempre una pagina che mi chiede di scaricare di nuovo Plex server ma già è scaricato e installato… Vi prego aiutatemi !!!

I used Plex perfectly for 1 year or so. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Plex because I had forgotten the login password and when I download the program and install it I can not insert the libraries because every time I try to do it always opens a page that asks me to download Plex server again but already is downloaded and installed… Please help me !!!

There might be some leftovers from your previous server install and the user that’s linked to it. With that… you’re not supposed to simply be able to take it over.
Take a look at this support article… it contains instructions on how to remove those hidden settings / machine identifiers from your machine before re-connecting to the server. When you first open the server after removing those settings – make sure to connect it through the locally installed version of Plex Web (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:32400/web if you’re on the same machine as the server or http://[local-server-ip-address]:32400/web if it’s on a different machine in your home network).
