same here.
server version: 1.15.3.876, web client version: 3.95.1
since the last server update, a (manual) library scan does not recognise new movies. playing existing media seems to work fine.
After doing the “Plex Dance”, I briefly saw a new movie appearing during the library scan, but then it disappeared.
I saw this in the alerts:
So, the movie was added and subsequently deleted during the library scan.
How is this possible?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
May I have the DEBUG log files please?
DEBUG log files (the ZIP from Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs) is standard procedure. We can’t help unless we can see the problem.
Thanks.
Supplemental:
Pursuant to the edited post above, it appears files are not adhering to the Plex naming requirements.
Please show exactly how the files are named and structured, including extensions.

Plex Media server runs on a 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 system.
I also have the logs; how do I send them to you?
The issue is solved on my server. It turns out that Plex did recognise the new movie, but it matched the movie (wrongly) as being the same as an existing movie in Plex. So a little “2” showed up on the poster of that movie. I could use “Split” in the Plex web app and fixed the wrong match for the new movie.
I reinstalled Plex completely from scratch and it solved my issue. I tried the repair db option but that did not work.
