Library doesn't refresh automatically with added TV series episodes

Hi, I just created a library for TV series, but it doesn’t refresh with new episodes being added to the specified folder on my HDD. It’s still showing one episode I added upon creation of the library - the folder now contains more than 20 episodes.
I also ticked the box in the Plex settings that it should refresh but it doesn’t.

Where do you run Plex server on?
Are the media files locally on the same device or on a network share (NAS)?
How are your episodes named and how are they organised into folders?
