I’ve added a library to TV Shows, but its been hours and nothing new is showing in the Plex app. I’ve refreshed metadata, changed setting to refresh every 15 minutes, etc. Nothing seems to be working. I’m on a PC using a NasDrive. All other libraries have appeared just fine within minutes. Please advise.
Can you explain how exactly you created/added this new library?
When you create a new library, Plex should ask what folder to link with that library. As the media is on an external/network drive, you might need to tell Plex to manually update the library after adding new files to this folder.

Take care to properly name your tv shows. Plex is quite touchy when it comes to the folder structure and file naming conventions for those (it’ll e.g. ignore files if it doesn’t recognize a section in the file name indicating what season / episode it is).

That works fine for Films, but it’s my TV Shows that won’t load up to Plex. The most recent ones are on my server exactly as my others, but no matter how long I wait or how many times I scan library files, they don’t appear.
Even when I create a whole new library, the same series come up but none of the new ones do.
How have you naned your files?
Plex will ignore files that don’t have a distinct season/episode section (e.g. Show Name - s01e01 as per the official naming convention)

I’m afraid there’s no change – even with that naming convention. Can we do a Bomgar session or something to sort this out?
