This is what I see, but clicking on that Trash Can icon tries to play the none existent show and of course pops up a Playback Error . I would have though that would remove the entry (based on its icon) Or the scan would have gotten rid of it all together… What other DVRs do when a file is missing. Similar to adding shows when the scanning is happening. -Bill
Thanks! That was lowering the WAF considerably. Since my shows are on a disk that should “always” be there so the automatic delete wouldn’t be an issue unless the drive crashed… and that would be a whole other issue… Thanks Again! -Bill
I’d ensure that this is the case under all circumstances. Better disable automatic and periodic library scans if there is even the slightest chance of this disk being absent, spun down, or disconnected e.g. after longer periods of non-use.
Nothings perfect. But if somehow they all get wiped from Plex, I believe I would just run another scan and they would all come back as they did the first time. -Bill
