I’ve created a new Library to display all my home videos, it shows with content in my admin account but my sons account just displays as empty.

I’ve searched high and low to see if it a rights issues but under his login I’ve allowed access to all libraries.

My sons account is restricted to older kid, I’ve also tried changing it to no restrcitions but that just shows the same no content in te library.

How can I get this library to display content for my sons account?

My plex server is running on a Synology NAS running DSM v7 and the Plex server is 4.69.1.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What type of library is this (e.g. movie or other video)?
You can apply a number of restrictions that’ll prevent your son from seeing the content of that library – e.g. allowing only media with certain “sharing labels” to be seen.

You have already ruled out another suspicion of mine: the restriction profiles could prevent other users from seeing content without a content-rating (assuming that “unknown” could be R or M rated content…).
