That worked this time. I was ready to say, “see my screengrab in post 34”, but it loaded the page. Perhaps because I logged out and back in again, who knows? I still don’t have anything to claim a server and the libraries shared with me are not available.
Did you read any of my links my link above? Particularly New Claiming Requirement for Windows
I did read your post. I’m not scared of the registry, but I used the first link you sent and made the changes. I tried using the Setup Plex link on Mini, but the text says to do it from any other machine. They don’t have access to the appdata folder on Mini and Windows doesn’t make it easy to share that folder. Nevertheless, it’s just an HTML file, its location doesn’t matter, so I copied it somewhere accessible to a different machine on the network (Knife). when I open this HTML file on Mini or Knife, I get the repeated reloading I show in post 34. Just in case it was a Firefox problem, I also loaded the page in Chrome. It does the same thing.
What is “mini”? Are you on Windows or are you not?
Did you read my post 14? Yes, I’m on Windows. Mini is the server for Plex, Knife is my main machine.
Honestly, I’m not sure what you are describing here. If this “mini” is runnign Windows, and you have RDP access to it, then you should have free reign, like on every other Windows computer.
Like I said, I was trying to provide network access to that folder as well as rdp. It’s besides the point, running that html file just reloads constantly.
I’ve recorded the RDP session with Mini going to that HTML page.

Plex is not logged in anywhere on my network
I recommend you to disable any web browser add-ins (I think your screen shot shows quite a few of them being active), and setting your DNS server to either 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8.
Then reboot the server and try again.
The DNS server is set to 1.1.1.1 and while I have several plugins in Firefox, there are none in Edge (I never use it), nor Chrome on that machine. I installed it expressly to check and didn’t sign in, so the plugins I use in Chrome on other machines were not loaded
I have the feeling that the only way to cure this problem is to tear it down and rebuild from scratch. I only posted here because it was not the usual kind of problem I sometimes get with Plex.
