Library scan failure

I removed six movies from one of my media libraries, however after doing a library scan they still appear in the library view. I applied the latest update yesterday, and ran several scans and even rebooted the server, and confirmed on the NAS that the files are not there. Anyone else seeing similar issues with Version 1.21.1.379? I’m running Ubuntu 20.04.

  1. Scan files
  2. Empty Trash
  3. Clean bundles

-or-

Have the Server - Library settings configured to perform these same actions After every scan

All been done, with no effect.

DEBUG server logs please.

As FYI, if the parent (TLD) directory is not available (e.g. the ‘/mount-point’ in a /mount-point/Name (Year)/Name (Year).ext … Plex will not remove it.

it considers this unavailable until it can verify (read) the “mount-point” referenced directory)

After further review I see the behavior seems to be limited to one library, which on the NAS had different ownership (my wife) and permissions. Other libraries are acting as expected so I am in the process of applying the same ownership and permissions to all libraries.
