Lately my library scan has been hanging. I’ve tried restarting the software to no avail. I know I have a large library but even with the partial scan option enabled and the scan running through the night no progress has been made.Plex Media Server Logs_2019-09-23_08-18-26.zip (3.5 MB)
I’ve seen this since 1.15…
I’ve found that you can just kill the process… or
If you go to the library sub menu it should say cancel scan instead of scan library files.
If you click cancel scan It will kill that one process and then continue with what other scans are in the queue…
It happens randomly since I run more then one server, all are clone copies with the exception of what user is assigned. It’s rare that its shows up on more then one at any given time and doesn’t seem to interfere with the user experience except that the server will miss any media changes.
