i do have a second plex instance i can spin up in a container to test against so I can A/B test against the same file structure. I’ll give those a go. not hopeful though. i’m a sr. developer so fairly tech savvy with what i can try.
Such a shame that things were so stable and issueless for so long and now i have to deal with all the issues that this new agent is throwing out. :-(. good thing i even realized there was an issue. it didn’t even alert me to the fact.
Question about the Plex Dance. I’ve just been moving the affected media out and in, do I need to move everything in the library out and back in? Moving the affected media, scanning and cleaing seemed to be doing the trick but that link seems to recommend all media/the entire library. thanks for any extra info. i stumbled onto “the shuffle” on my own trying to debug this stuff.
