Limit Celular Data on iPad Pro under Wireguard (VPN) Not Working

I ve seen a curious behaviour on my iPad. I use WireGuard to be as at home when i m out. My connection is on 4G, and my quality settings are:

Limit Celular data: 2 Mbps
Remote: 3 Mbps
Home Streaming: Max.

Well, with Wireguard OFF, transcoding correct -> 2 Mbps
With Wireguard ON, transcoding OFF. -> Original quality.

The ip is local right, but Plex should see that my connection is 4G, and not Wifi… am i right ?

It’s possible that with the Wireguard VPN active, from a network perspective, you appear to Plex to be “at home”, and are triggering the Home Streaming settings.

I think I agree with you, the “Limit Cellular” setting should “win” here.

I ve been looking at Network section on PMS and i ve seen this:

Maybe playing with this something can be achieved.
