Lip sync on SHIELD Pro 2019

I agree completely. I’ve been a plex pass member for ages and this one annoying bug over the course of a year has really killed the experience for me.

Even worse, as more and more features and updates get released by plex this one bug seems to constantly evade their attention.

Is android TV no longer an important platform for them?

@BigWheel this is an example of a thread that’s died on the vine but is the PRIMARY pain point for a lot of us. I’d be more than happy to beta test, provide logs, etc… but there hasn’t been much word from devs. Thank you again.

It is a known issue. It happens to me regularly when skipping forward. I don’t think they need more logs. As mentioned above by @DaveBinM it has just been very hard to find the cause of, but they have not stopped trying to figure it out.

Since the Update to Experience 9 i have to dissble Audio Processing (DD+ to DD, for Netflix etc because my TV does not support DD+) to jump forward during playback on Plex Shield Client. If i dont, Audio is out of sync.
Using latest Beta PMS on Syno NAS and latest Beta Shield Plex Client.
