Hi, I’m using an iphone 7+ with the Plex app to stream to a Chromecast on my home tv. If I play the movie on my phone I can listen with bluetooth headphones but if I switch it to play on the CC I lose the BT headphones and only have audio on the tv. Is there a way to listen to the audio on the headphones while casting? Both of my TV’s are older non-smart tv’s so I can’t connect wireless headphones without buying extra devices. If anyone knows of a way to do this, I would appreciate some help. Thanks!
Yes, but from what i can see plex casting feature does not support this.
The only way i would imagine this works is if you used a 3rd party application (i use web video caster) and run plex through its web browser. I havent tried this yet but it does allow you to listen to casted media through your phone but theres syncing issues which can become a little tedious.
It would be nice to know if theres a more stable work-around for this?
