I’m having the same problem and I get the same message: “There was an unexpected error Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems”
So here I am in forums and the only help I can find is that someone else is having the same problem with no replies for 9d.
This problem only happens with movies, not shows. It happens with firmware 1.14.1.5488 through 1.15.3.858. It doesn’t happen all the time. I’m going nuts. Thanks.
I am getting the same same error. Happens on Movies, TV and Music. Only Photos works. This is on my LG OLED TV. I can’t play any content other than my Photos. Everything works fine through the web interface. I wish we could get an answer here.
Same issue here. If it helps, I upgraded to Version 1.15.3.876 late last week
Do the developers / support people look at these? I looked over my logs (honestly I don’t know much about what I’m looking at there) and searched for that error string and came up with nothing.
Any of you previous posters find a workaround/fix?
Anyone else running into this? maybe if enough people have this issue and post about it we’ll get an answer?
Just noticed a beta update available and manually installed Version 1.15.4.919, same problem still.
If it helps narrow it down, Channels, News, Shows and Sports all work fine, but I get the error on ‘Live TV & DVR’ and ‘Movies’
I have just noticed the same thing. …was working a few days ago.
I get the same thing, however, a simple refresh of the browser (reload the page) gives me the listing.

It works perfectly on https://app.plex.tv/ fo me (no need to refresh)
My problem appears limited to Plex Media Player on my Mac (v 3.83.2)
…and it’s clearly intermittent as it was working again on my Mac this morning, but has stopped again.
I have just restarted PMP and it is working again. I will check to see if a restart of the player always (temporarily at least) addresses it.
so it fails 100% of the time if i go to my server http://192.168.1.10:32400 but seems to work fine if i go to https://app.plex.tv/
any thoughts?
Interesting. my equivalent http://192.168.1.145:32400 appears to work fine. …but I always use https://app.plex.tv as it’s a permanent location.
