Recording any TV lately, only football these days, when I start a stream, it starts playing in spanish, and when I go into the playback settings, it has english selected. If I select spanish, then reselect english, it switches to the correct stream. Seems to behave ok on the webapp, but I almost never use that.
I just made a similar post. Same Card. I noticed that the Audio stream formats are listed as “Unknown (Stereo)” and “Unknown (5.1)”
After killing and restarting the stream several times I eventually get it to populate with “English AC3 (5.1)” and “Spanish AC3 (Stereo)” and it then works.
It looks like plex isn’t detecting the stream formats properly on the card.
In my case, it’s got the stream names are correct right from the start. It just thinks it’s playing English from the start like it’s supposed to, but it’s actually Spanish.
For what it’s worth, this is a recent issue, last football season this never happened.
I don’t know if it’s related, but I’ve been seeing similar issues with initial behavior not matching settings regarding transcoding.
This problem persists, so I’m revisiting here.

Of note in the video, you can see that initially while it is playing Spanish, English is the selected setting. Once I select Spanish in the settings, and then re-select English, it correctly changes streams. I’ve seen a few posts about this problem blaming the broadcast, but this really makes it seem like a client problem.
