Plex streaming Live TV through Roku - NFL is in Spanish

I could only get the Spanish play by play for NFL games for CBS and Fox this last Sunday. Super frustrating. The stream is through my Hauppaugge TV card (antenna) in the Linux box server. However, when I went to the live broadcast with a direct connection to an the antenna, the broadcast was in English. Logging into the server showed the spanish broadcast playing. All settings are showing that English is the preferred language, but I could never get the English broadcast to play. Up until now, it has always been the English broadcast.

i have this same problem. In my case, I can fix this by:

  1. Go into audio settings and select “Spanish” as the audio type. This doesn’t actually change anything regarding playback, but does let the player “know” which stream it’s playing.
  2. Go back into audio, and select “English”. Now it will switch to the English stream correctly.

Thanks for the tip! I can confirm it solved the issue. I thought I was going nuts that the Pack/Bucs game was in Spanish!
