Hi,

since the 1.18 update, my Live-TV is very wonky. Every few seconds the stream stops for about one second, shows artefacts and then keeps on playing. 1.17 was almost perfect.

I run my Plex on a DS918+ with 8gb ram. My log shows the following transcoding errors:

Ok thanks! I downgraded to 1.17.0. The error is gone now.

Btw. i had these hickups on all channels. As a side note i use xteve 2.0.3 with tvheadend backend and xmltv provided by schedules direct.

I saw the same issues with 1.18.x, as have many others. I was able to successfully revert to the last 1.17.x beta and all is well.

Can confirm this problem. I’ve rolled back to 1.16 and the glitching is gone. Running mine on an i5 + 8GB of RAM.

I think I’ll be looking at plex alternatives when time presents. What with the EPG stuff you’ve recently pulled and this, I no longer have faith in your project.

Thanks for the reports, we are tracking the issue in Live TV and recorded TV playback stutter, buffering, and pixelation using Plex Server 1.18.0.1846

I have the same issue. Works fine when reverting back to 1.16.1 ( have not tried 1.17.x)

Same issue with Live TV among others after I upgraded to 1.18. (Uno sidebar navigation, android music stopping) Reverted back to 1.17 and fixed all three issues.
