We recently received mobile app upgrades and Live TV is showing up on profiles that have this feature disabled. It only happens on mobile so far, a web browser appears to respect the setting.
Maybe I have misremembered the settings to disable movies and tv for certain profiles, but this has worked great for years.
Have you also disabled “Online Media Sources” in the settings?

Have you tried just disabling it entirely vs just for managed accounts? I’ve seen some users have that issue, not that it should require that. Also, is it LiveTV of the plex content or your own Tuner?
Interestingly changing the setting to “Disabled” saving, setting it back to “Disabled for Managed Accounts”, does remove it and corrects the problem. No, live tv is not my own tuner.
Sorry I spoke too soon. This gets a little weirder. It turns out you have to first open each device while the setting is set to disabled, close Plex on that device. Set it back to “Disabled for Managed Accounts” and then reopen on the give device and it will function properly. This is a pain, but at least I have a plan to work around this.
Yah, that’s annoying. Glad you found a workaround though. Seems to be a bug, but since I haven’t experienced it directly, I can’t really submit a report for it.
