My DVR Recordings and Live TV are no longer functioning properly. Recordings fail, and live TV fails after a minute or so (it begins playing normally), with a message that “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.”
I get a message in the console that I think is very relevant right as I begin to watch live TV:
[Req#cf3] DVR:NewSchedule: Couldn’t schedule recording (error: Cannot record airing in the past).
I am in the US military stationed in Korea, tuning into Armed Forces Network. I can’t help but notice this occurred on Monday for me, which is Sunday in the US, and the same time that daylight savings was changed. Korea does not observe daylight savings.
I use a Plex provided guide data from March Reserve Base in California (zip code 92518). I’ve been using this for about 2 years, with only one issue in the past (had to do with an update to PMS and users on the other side of the international date line, that was resolved in a PMS update). Have never had any issues with recordings prior to today.
