I went to my Plex player on Apple TV Thursday night to watch DVR recordings. All of them were 1 or 2 minutes long. Literally all of them. I logged onto this community and found someone with the exact same issue and responded to that thread.
As I was continuing to troubleshoot I found that I couldn’t tune any live TV. I get a red error that reads Playback Error This live TV session has ended, or Playback Error This channel cannot be tuned. Or similar errors. I’ve seen a few.
I deleted the DVR from the server. I then launched HDHomerun on Windows and was prompted for a firmware update. I did that and then found that I couldn’t tune any channels there either. I power cycled the HDHomerun and that fixed the issue with the HDHomrun app. I can now launch and watch Live TV with the HDHomerun.
Back to Plex, I reinstalled the DVR and HDHomerun Tuner. It found all the channels and I can see the guide. However, nothing will record and I still can’t tune channels for Live TV.
I honestly don’t know what additional troubleshooting to do. So any help this team can give is appreciated.
