I set Use hardware-accelerated video encoding to Disabled, set Client Network to IPv4 Only, made a few additional changes based on the defaults and that seems to have worked. Is there any reason Use hardware-accelerated video encoding has to be disabled on the Mac Mini (M1, 2020)?

Live TV plays on Plex for Web, iOS, and Android TV, but not the Plex Media Player on macOS. Plex Media Server also crashes if I click through the channels on Live TV.

No, it’s only disabled in the other setting. I think it’s the client.
