Cannot consistently stream Live TV on various devices

For several days now, I’ve struggled to consistently stream Live TV to various devices on my local network, including computers running MacOS 10.14, phones and tablets running iOS 12, and the Plex Web player. I get various errors, including “cannot create session,” “network:s0001,” “Playback error: Unable to tune channel,” or “the live TV session has ended.” Plex doesn’t seem to be communicating with my HDHomeRun Prime 3 tuner, which shows no tuners active even as Plex tries to connect to the live TV stream.

Yesterday, I encountered the same error, and rebooting the HDHomeRun PRIME (which is updated to the most recent firmware, 20180817) and the Plex server seemed to fix it. But it’s cropped right back up today, and I’m wondering whether the fault doesn’t lie with something Plex is doing. I’ve noticed a lot more problems with Plex in the past few weeks, and I’m wondering whether it’s not playing nicely with MacOS Mojave, or whether something on Plex’s end is causing the trouble.

Has anyone else been encountering similar problems? Is this just a “wait for the next update” situation?

Have same issue with WinTV Quad HD tuners on Windows 10 with Version 1.13.9.5439. Have been having issues with Plex even before this version with recordings, now the live TV feature does not work either.

It has to be something Plex have done, there’s too many people in this thread: Plex DVR, Trying to watch Live TV but get error “Unable to tune channel (no parts)” with the same issues around live TV.

You can install an earlier version of Plex Server to get around the issue for now.

After completely uninstalling Plex, then doing a fresh install of 1.13.7.5369, Plex seems to be working again on MacOS Mojave. I have no problems with remote access, streaming live TV, or (thus far) recording or playing back shows.
