I’m using a Windows based computer for my server and Apple-TV in my living room to watch TV. Recorded TV shows play fine, but live TV all I get is the Pin Wheel. Any suggestions to get the live TV to play again?

We think we’ve identified the issue and we’re working on a fix for an upcoming version. In the meantime we believe you may be able to work around this issue by changing both settings Auto Adjust Quality and Use Old Video Player to “Off”.

I have a very similar issue with the latest Apple TV app that the workaround suggested here, Auto Adjust Quality and Use Old Video Player Off, does not fix.
I’ve been successfully using Plex Live TV with HDHomeRun devices, a Raspberry Pi server, and and Apple TV HD for the last couple of years. Recently:
Any attempt to play live TV realists in a rotating gear, then a blank screen, and then returns to the program selection screen. The same thing happens with play from beginning when a live program is being recorded.
My live HDHomeRun antenna TV has continued to work fine when viewed through the iPad Plex app, and the MacOS Plex app. It also works great on the Channels app on the Apple TV. My recorded shows work fine on the Plex Apple TV app once the show has completed, but I get the same behavior if I use either the watch live or watch from start options while the show is being recorded.
Oops, I flipped both options and should have flipped only one. I retract the above and this work around does seem to work for me.
