Plex Pass downloads for PMS are always beta.
You can follow a single forum thread (that is, be notified of updates) for release notes: Plex Media Server
Find the “notification” button:
Click on it and select Watching.
Last but not least, on Settings / Server / General, when you click on What’s New, you will get the appropriate release notes:
