I scheduled PLEX to record a FIFA soccer game, usa vs wales. When I watch it on an andriod phone I see the soccer game but the audio is from a wild west cowboy movie. When I play it on the Roku tv it’s plays the wild west cowboy movie with audio from the soccer game. All other OTA TV show record play fine, It looks like after the transcoding completed all I see is the Western cowboy movie and the soccer audio on the Roku TV and the andriod phone. If I select English (AC3 Stereo) I get the cowboy audio. If I select English ( AC3 5.1) or Spanish Descriptive ( AC3 Stereo) I get the soccer audio. I can no longer see the original larger file see attached. Why was the soccer replaced with the Western movie after Transcoding and how do I fix it going forward ?. I’m a new be so any help would be appreciated.

I don’t know if this would fix it, but this is what I would try:

  • Make sure all the Plex apps you’re using are up to date
  • Delete the DVR on the PMS
  • Complete any updates on the PMS
  • Reboot the PMS
  • Add the DVR(s)
  • Rescan the channels
  • Go to Live TV on your preferred Plex app and check the audio on all of the channels that have more than one track. If any audio track is missing, recheck all the channels until none are missing.
  • Try the DVR
