Live TV Reset (Plex Req.) Now doesnt work

I have tried the subtitle tricks/deleting DVR/refreshing metadata/direct/indirect play basically everything I could find on it. NOTHINGS worked. This is affecting my browser play, apple play, and firecube play, the Windows App works fine and of course the HDhomerun App works fine (also enabled/disabled direct transcoding).
Nothing has worked so far please help.

one of two errors reports…on browser it says Playback error source unavailable
on the apple or firecube it states transcoding error no direct playback available.

Are you running the preview build with the TV Show/Series Scanner?

Try using stable version.

I’ll also observed spoof tuners (xTeve and DisqueTV) can bump the HDHomerun to disabled channels.

Ill switch back to stable version, but its not that. Didnt download any bundles or change

Could be any number of things. I’m not seeing anything jumping out in the log.

In the transcoder section on the server…

check to see if you have hardware acceleration enabled.
check to see if you have Disable video stream transcoding enabled
turn off the DNLA server. (old thread said it used unnecessary resources.)
do you have enough free Hard drive space?

It may be trial and error till it works. The Quatro is probably sending MPEG2 with ADTS audio… which Plex will try to transcode to play live tv. Does DVR work?

Ive worked on this for a total of 8hrs in the span of 48hrs.

I have changed very little from my initial settings but for some reason it started working again.

I have the max settings on everything possible and it barely scrapes 1% of use, so it cant be anything related to the ability of my computer. My network is 10Gb/s so its not anything locally or remotely.

I read the post about rebuilding the DVR scheduling because of loss of support couple of nights ago, I rebuilt the DVR and it stopped working a couple of nights ago on the browser (firefox) and 2 media devices (apple/firecube). It worked on other computers window apps though.

I changed every setting incrementally with restarts of server between each step. They all got returned to normal besides the trans-coding Making my CPU Hurt, and other max settings in that section. Still didn’t work, posted on here, rebuilt DVR a couple more times, went to the store came back to it working.

Cant figure it out, but its working. Thank you for you help though.

I had this same issue when I deleted and recreated the DVR. What I found was under “More” a new Live TV & DVR option, even though I had it pinned. I removed the pinned one, then added again from “More” and it worked fine. Perhaps if you had it pinned, it has a reference to the deleted DVR?
