After the new update Live TV & DVR has stopped working I am in UK and using the HD Home Run box to access live TV, for some reason during beginning of this week it suddenly stopped working I tried to remove the Tuner and re-added it, but not able to remove it, the HD Home Run works fine on its own app all channels work fine but on plex it does not work as if its been blocked. any ideas?

I,m not sure. how do I check that? i,m using an android Nvidia Shield as my server

Go to “Settings” and then “general” from the web interface.

Same here. Weird things going on.
My setup

  1. Plex MAC: Plex Server running on Mac Mini. (Plex Server: Version 1.16.1.1291-158e5b199, MacOS : 10.14.5 (18F132))
  2. Plex SYN: Plex Server running on Synology DS918+. (Plex Server: Version 1.16.2.1297, NAS OS : DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 2)
  3. HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO with latest firmware (20190621) connected to Plex MAC
  4. HDHomeRun EXTEND with latest firmware (20190621) connected to Plex SYN

My issues:

  1. My HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO stopped working with my Plex MAC. Plex MAC doesn’t see it anymore. Impossible to configure even manually.
  2. Plex MAC able to see and configure both tuners
  3. Plex MAC able to see and configure the HDHomeRun EXTEND only. But I want the Quatro to run on Plex MAC.

I did 2 things this week:

  1. Updated both HDHomeRun firmware to latest.
  2. Updated both Plex Server to latest Public version (not Beta)

Feels like I will need to wait for Plex Server Update. Feels like a firmware change issue.

Anybody getting the same issue?

Hi Im using Version 1.11.3.4803 know as I had to downgrade to re-add my HD Home Run, I can locate my tuner know to re-instal as a fresh instalation, but unable to input the postcode to progress any further

You need v1.16 to get the new EPG now…

But the new EPG has a lot of issues right now.

How do I get v1.16? do I need to update that on the server, I realised if I update it I don’t get any Live TV access it does not work and unable to locate HD Home Run

I,m using an Nvidia Shield as my server with HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO the latest firmware has aready been installed, just like you I have exactly the same problem
Plex Nvidia Shield doesn’t see it anymore. Impossible to configure even manually only when you downgrade to Version 1.11.3.4803 I have the option to see it and re-install the HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO but you can’t add the post code so it doesn’t progress any further.

I saw a thread where the person did the same thing you did and then updated the Plex Server to 1.16 and claimed that it is working fine now. I’ll give it a try and let you know how it goes. I’ll try it later today.

I have exactly the same problem and tried the same updates etc. Only difference is I use a PC linked to my DS918+

I was able to fix my issue by:

  1. Uninstalling completely Plex Server following:
    https://support.plex.tv/articles/201941078-uninstall-plex-media-server/
  2. Installing the latest version: 1.16.2.1297
  3. Setup DVR. I had to punch in the ip manually in order for Plex to see the HDHomeRun Quatro. If not, I was only getting the continuous searching spiral…

Even this way, was a bit dicey because I had to punch in the ip a few times to finally connect to the Quatro…

I have tried the other suggestion to downgrade to 1.16.0.1226 in this thread:

But it didn’t work for me. I tried several times. Sucks that I have to re-program my DVR but at least it works.
