Live TV & DVR unstable after 1.29.1.6316 upgrade

My Live TV & DVR playback is now extremely unstable after the latest update - 1.29.1.6316. I believe this is the server side update, as my AndroidTV client started seeing this issue after the server update. Updating the Android client to 1.29.1.6316 did not resolve the issue.

Issue: Playback stops randomly acting like it’s buffering, and then eventually crashes stating playback was stopped. I will try to grab the exact error message in the morning. Playback will work again if I select the channel again, but will crash out anywhere between 30 seconds to 10 minutes. I’ve tried different tuners covering different stations from different markets, and it does not appear to be a weak TV signal issue, nor is it related to either a Hauppauge or HD HomeRun tuner.

Earlier today, I saw it crash out on a recorded movie after about 30 minutes, but haven’t been able to replicate that since.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I can submit server-side logs if that would be helpful.

Why does PLEX hijack my device whenever PLEX execs want to add ad content instead of leaving me in peace???
I signed up for a Lifetime Membership, but did not expect to be FORCED to have PLEX constantly invade my privacy!!
I’m 79 and want to watch my favorite programs in PEACE! I TRY to use LAUNCH instead of upgrade, but it circumvents me before I can quickly choose LAUNCH!!! It also forces me to have to re-order my entire folders in order to move the PLEX CRAP to the bottom of my screen!!! are we now living in RUSSIA, where Putin gets to call all of the shots???

Just circling back here - this actually appears to be a stability issue with my server hardware. I was able to witness my RDP session to the server freeze twice when Plex started buffering on my living room TV. I’ve been meaning to upgrade the server now for a few months to support basic 4k transcoding, so I ordered some new hardware and will swap over to an 11th gen I5 from my older Ryzen 3.
