Live TV & DVR - Upscaling question

Hello,

So before i order a “Hauppauge WinTV Dual HD” to use on my Nvidia Shield Pro for Live TV & DVR, will the TV (Samsung 43Q60R) itself gonna upscale the channels like it usually does?
If not, will something else upscale them?

I suppose it depends if you enable it or not on your Nvidia Shield. If it’s enabled, it will do it; if it’s not, the TV will.
