So six months in with the new Gracenote EPG and we still have wrong lineup, missing channels, wrong schedule and metadata.
Submitting correct information to you, hoping the problem will be solved also doesn’t work.
The old EPG wasn’t great, but it was working. Could you please provide an option to revert back since you can’t fix the new EPG. Or maybe just announce the EPG is not supported and allow entering a manual lineup.
I know there is a lot of people in Denmark that is affected by this switch of EPG provider, as Yousee it the predominant cable provider in the country and it’s here I’m seeing the problem.
I have provided Plex with an official lineup and @sa2000 had a look at it, but nothing has changed. I tried to provide answers to help solve the issue, but I’m not an EPG expert, so I need to understand how it works if I should fix it. So again, I really hope Plex will fix it sometime soon, but for now, I’ll regrettably have to switch to XML (thanks for the tip @JCHH ).
I’ve also had the same issue. Submitted a BAD EPG data google form report, but it’s been over a month and it hasn’t been fixed. NBC Nightly News is currently +6 episode numbers ahead of what it actually is for example.
Awesome - now the lineup is matching (and I’ll check if the EPG is okay) but what about all the missing channels like VH1, MTV, Nat. Geo., just to name a few?
