Still not working. Fix takes too long considering this is plex pass only feature. Not installing beta previews with risk of another issues, you should patch stable versions ASAP after you find critical issues like this…
Given the number of people who have downloaded the preview version and have said it solved their issues and have not posted any other issues, I’m not sure why you would want to wait. However, the choice is yours.
Many have just given up reporting LiveTV/DVR issues because they don’t seem to be getting resolved. See the year+ long thread here (Start Watching Recording in Progress from Beginning(Failing)) and others.
The issue being discussed in THIS thread is resolved by using the preview version of the desktop Player app.
Your post and the thread you reference have nothing to do with the issue being experienced using the desktop Player app.
My only point was that many have given up on LiveTV/DVR with PLEX and therefore there may be fewer people to identify issues in any permutation of use. Simply pointing out that with fewer users there is less likelihood of a problem being reported regardless of platform/use. I’ve yet to get around to testing the PLEX Windows APP changes since I discovered the problems as it’s a lower priority.
Can you provide any insight into the progress on the other LiveTV/DVR issues? Would be good to hear about them other than “were working on them and they’re complicated”. Without any dialogue it’s very difficult to know how issues may or may not be related. We’ve been given very little information.
Agree that it’s positive if the Windows apps is really fixed.
Just to be clear, the issue in this thread and the fix is in no way related to the issue in the thread you’ve posted about here.
I get that you’re frustrated; unfortunately, I don’t have any additional information to share about the issue being discussed in that other thread.
My point is that your perception is out of place in this particular thread. Not one person who has reported THIS ISSUE, then updated to the Preview has posted that it has NOT resolved THIS issue for them.

Canceled my Plex Pass, I didn’t see too much added value and I have few less features to worry about. Maybe I’ll try again in a year or two …
