Live TV only works for main profile not local user

I have an xTeVe docker setup with an IPTV provider and when I am logged in as my main Plex profile everything works perfectly. However when I log into a child account I made within that Plex server the channels just spin never connecting. I checked the account permissions and it is set to allow Live TV and recordings. Is there anything else that would prevent this child account from using Live TV? I can literally just swap users and it comes right up.
