Live TV Playback error - This live TV Session has ended

Yesterday I updated the firmware on both of my HDHomerun Devices to version 20200521 and also update the server software to1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9-x86_64. Now live tv is not working on Roku or the web. I get the message " Playback error - This live TV session has ended"

I’ve deleted and re-added the homerun devices, but no luck.

When i look at the server logs, I see a lot of this:
Warning: ex: boost::filesystem::last_write_time: No such file or directory: “/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Resources/Plug-ins-b23ab3896/LocalMedia.bundle/Contents/Code/subtitlehelpers.py”, couldn’t check file: “/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Resources/Plug-ins-b23ab3896/LocalMedia.bundle/Contents/Code/subtitlehelpers.py”

Not sure if that has anything to do with it. What else can i try or look at? Any ideas?

It’s not your HDHomerun firmware - I have been using that release for quite a while now.

If you search the forum, you’ll found quite a few people complaining about this issue after updating to PMS 1.20.1

Some have resolved it by downgrading to 1.20.0

Nailed it! Thank you! I moved back to a previous version and it appears to be working correctly now.

I think I have isolated the problem. With the new PMS update I had to uninstall “PlexService_1.1.7.msi” for Live TV to work. I spent the last two day uninstalling and re-installing PMS. Once I removed the service app everything begins to work again but I have to remain logged in.
