I am having a problem with my Live TV DVR not working after installing the last update. When I go to the PC with the Plex server I am able to get the channel guide but get “Playback Error -
An error occurred trying to play - Error code: s1001 (Network).” I am using HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO tuner. I was watching the Live TV DVR through a Roku player before I installed the update version 1.20.1.3252.

I am on 1.20.0 myself but I have seen others on 1.20.1 with this problem and the (temporary) solution appears to be to downgrade back to 1.20.0.

Perhaps someone who has actually done this can confirm…

Have the quattro and it is working with 1.20.1 on Plex for Windows, https://app.plex.tv and Android Mobile. Will have to try my Roku when I get home.

If a rollback fixes it then I would suspect corruption in your database is causing the upgrade to malfunction.

I uninstalled and clean everything last night but the problem is still there.

Reinstalled PlexMediaServer-1.19.5.3112 Live TV DVR working again.

I am having the same issue with the version of Plex 1.20.1.3252 with a Hauppauge WinTV-Dual HD turner (204201 LF Rev C2I6) using the WinTV Ver10 drivers/application. WinTV is working and can see the channels and works fine, but Plex sees the USB tuner but it fails during the channel scan and it failed to show any channels which is was able to do before the update to the current version of Plex. I removed the USB device from under Plex and then under the OS and choosing to remove the driver. I rebooted and then validated that the device was not found and then re-installed the WinTV Ver10 and it re-installed the driver. It required a reboot. After the server came back up, I was able to add the USB tuner and Plex was able to started to scan the channels again. But after the guide was down loaded none of the channels would display video.
Clearly, an issue with this version of PLEX.

I spoke to soon. My did the same thing.

Fresh install, uninstalled PLEX, deleted registry, and deleted Plex Local App Data folder. Cleaned registry, and rebooted. Reinstalled PlexMediaServer-1.19.5.3112 Live TV DVR working again. Have not added any libraries. Next step.
