Live TV will not play

Player Version#:Windows, Fire stick 4k, and roku
Onap 451+ 4GB 6TB(25%)

Not sure why I’m not getting any help but I did move my tuner connection to the router and left it there so Plex support wouldn’t point fingers at my performance tuning.

Live TV will not play on any station or streaming device but will record and play back. When I click on a station I get a spinning circle for app. 10 minutes then a error message. I get the same results on Windows player Fire Stick and Roku built into a Sharp TV. Everything else seem OK. I think the problem started when I updated to a new version of PMS I tried to install older versions of PMS but didn’t help. Did a rescan of TV channels and saved… HD Home Run software plays live from the Homerun tuner. I have the HD homerun 4 tuner. Note! The attached log was downloaded while a Fire Stick 4K was trying to play live TV. (File removed)

Live TV is working again due to a new version of Plex media server Version 1.21.0.3616

I’m very happy with Plex and all the new stuff being added but testing seems to be rather poor. Also recovery from a buggy new version can be difficult and lengthy. When I discovered the problems with the new bad version of PMS I restored three older versions with no luck. It would appear that the new version updates are only changes to PMS rather than a complete replacement. I request that Plex provide a full previous version copy of PMS with all new updates so that we can recover from any new version with a bug. You may also want to run a counter on the usage of the “previous version” as a first alert of bugs.
