I can also confirm the raw stream coming from the provider does not loop, or repeat.

Are you using xTeve as the tuner to pull m3u playlists to play in PLEX? This may actually be the FFMPEG issue of not handling discontinuous timestamps. Try testing the live tv by loading the xTeve m3u playlist into VLC and see if the issue persists.

As I mentioned before, DVR recordings are not affected, so it’s not likely the issue. Besides, xTeVe isn’t using FFMPEG.

Same problem here! HD Homerun connect duo, and xteve. My problem doesn’t occur on xteve channel. Only OTA channel.

Would be great to have a Plex dev comment here.

Someone’s looking into the hdhomerun issue. I don’t use Xteve but I will let them know.

Unfortunately it’s private email. But I’ll ask them to reach out. it’s been very hard to get someone to respond. Took me 3 months. Last time I tagged an employee they stopped responding haha. Shouldn’t be this way but unfortunately it is. I’ll send an email to them now!

Looks like this issue is being looked at by a few people at plex (as seen here). So hopefully something will happen soon.
