live tv with HDHomeRun Dual

I am using a HDHomeRun Dual (firmware 20170930) with a Roku stick (new black version).

After watching live tv on the Roku for about 5 minutes. It stops and the buffer screen shows up and never goes away. The only way I can get it back is to restart the plex software running on my windows 10 machine and restarting it or reboot the HDHomeRun (unplug from power).

It has happened (I believe) every single time I’ve tried it, which is dozens of times.

Also, exiting the software on the roku or rebooting the roku doesn’t seem to help. If I go back in and access any live tv channel, it just “buffers” to a few percent and can’t ever get to live tv.

If, after it freezes up like that, I do nothing with the roku, hdhomerun or the plex software, I can still access the HDHomeRun via the silicon dust software, so I think the hardware unit is ok.
