Hi,

1. Since the latest Plex version for ios I cannot find a section/tab, which displays all planned recordings.
2. TV channels are shown under “Guide” (“EPG”) but under “Favorite Channels” only the following message appears: “Dieser Kanal Kanal ist nicht mehr verfügbar”. However all favorite channels are properly set on the server. Same Problem with Plex for AppleTV (V 8.45).

1. that feature no longer exists in the iOS apps. Supposedly it’s coming later. Why did they bother to release this update if it was missing features? Good question.

2. it’s a bug. Why they did they release this update if it still had obvious bugs? Another good question.

I hope for the second option.
In the other case the daily use of LiveTV with its current channel sorting order will be very anoying.

I wasn’t giving two options, I was answering each of your questions.

They have admitted DVR functionality is missing and have said it’ll be added later - it’s in the release notes in their posts about the update.

The fact that they released the app without any consideration for DVR management tells you how important they view this feature and users of it.

Favorites is a bug, it’s just plain broken and not working correctly.

At least you got the guide to show up. The Plex app crashes for me after trying to load the Live TV tab through the app on my Samsung A9+ tablet.

My Lenovo Tab11 with Android 13 has also been updated to the new Plex app.
Loading the guide takes about 2-3 minutes after starting the app, but at least it does not crash.

After quite some time at least the LiveTV favorite channels are back in IOS and Android. However loading the EPG (Guide) data takes lot mor time compared to the old Plex version.
What is still painful missing (or hidden for my eyes) is anything that has to do with TV recordings. I cannot even find a way to plan a recording.

Next IOS/Android app problems encountered:

1. Guide(EPG) data is only avalable for the next couple of hours. EPG for the upcoming days is not displayed/available.
   

   

2. Streaming LiveTV ends with an error message after 30+ minutes.
   

   

Hard to understand why a good working App has been discontinued before the new version is really working well.
