LiveTV won't play on my new Roku Express or Samsung TV but does on other devices

Server Version#: 1.32.1.6999
Server Hardware: Nvidia Shield p2897 seemingly 2017 version
Player Version#: Latest player on Roku

Can really use help from either Plex Emps or Plex gurus on this forum. I have my Plex Media Server running on the 2017 Nvidia Shield. I used the liveTV feature mainly from a remote location playing back on my 2019 Samsung QN65Q80RAFXZA, however since about a year and half ago LiveTV playback broke (on the Samsung). Basically, the server seems to be working away transcoding (and sending the data) but the player times out with an Unexpected Error indicating it couldn’t create a player. I have posted prior forum messages about this to no avail. To work around this issue I brought up and installed my second Nvidia Shield 2017 at the remote location. LiveTv playback from my remote shield works but only when I playback from this local NVidia Shield Plex Player. However, its a little cumbersome to do this and I would prefer to keep my Shield at the other location. So instead I just bought and installed a new current model Roku Express 4k+ assuming LiveTv would work fine. It doesn’t. I get a similar problem as when I try in the Samsung player. On play the progress indicator sticks at 33% until it times out. I have attached both the Server and Roku logs. (Note: the Roku log was from a second run so its timestamps are a little later).

On thing I noticed is that playback of LiveTV on my Shield isn’t transcoded – it respects my direct play. However playback of LiveTv on both my Roku and Samsung players are transcoded. Furthermore I couldn’t playback any recorded shows on my new Roku from either the remote or local shield until I changed the Plex player settings on the Roku to Original Quality.

So I am wondering, did the (re)implementation of LiveTV somehow obsolete the playback from NVidia Shield 2017 version? Either because it can’t transcode fast enough or that the server profiles on this system are somehow incompatible with the players, or something else? Or am I looking in completely the wrong location?

Any ideas/suggestions allowing me to debug this are welcome.

A couple of other pieces of information:

  1. Network speed isn’t likely the issue. I have close to 200Mbps upload from my remote NVidia Shield so plenty of bandwidth to transmit the 15-20 Mbps. The Samsung Player is hard wired and hence supports a download speed near 200 Mbps. The Roku is connected wirelessly but as a new device and I have a new router, the Roku shows network speeds are around 100Mbps,

  2. I can playback LiveTV in a Windows web browser. Playback in this instance is transcoded.
