Server Version#: 1.20.3.3437
I know this is in the “Remote Access” section, but maybe someone smart enough to solve remote access will know the answer.
I have a Xfinity Gateway and I have been able to setup a port forward and static IP. All of that works and I have folks that can access my PMS from remote. No issues there. Also, if I am hardwired into the router, no issues.
However, if I am wireless and IN MY OWN HOME NETWORK, I cannot access the server and stream. Occasionally, I can get the “Home” age to populate but you can’t get anything to play. it just spins. I had an AppleTV that was just spinning also and as soon as I strung a Cat5 cable to it (instead of wifi), it ran just fine. I have other devices that I can’t string cables to and this is very strange. I could call Xfinity, but I don’t even know what to ask them.
To recap:
Local Network (wired) - Success
Local Network (wifi) - Fail
Remote Connection - Success
Here is a log from this morning where it was spinning, in case it helps (show I was trying to stream for testing was Stargate SG-1, if needed to search).
Thank you
