Local extra not being detected

I have /The Walking Dead - Dead City folder.
Inside, I have Season 1, Other. Inside Other folder, I have whatisthis-other.mkv as per naming. Why is this not being picked up? For movies I have no issue.

Are you checking with a client that is actually able to show per-season extras?

Also, you are double-declaring the extra. Once per subfolder, and once per filename-suffix. You only do one of these.

Yes, I checked both Plex Web and iOS app.

No double extra, it is a show-level extra. So it is:

/The Walking Dead - Dead City
   /Season 1
      S01E01.bla.bla.mkv
      S01E02.bla.bla.mkv
   /Other
      whatisthis-other.mkv

Is it bug with latest plex?

Can you share the actual file names in your show folder?
No known bugs… I’ve just added a number of extras based on the different options without issues.

Hmm that’s weird, because that is what I have:

      whatisthis-other.mkv <-- second extras declaration

You use only one of these, not both at the same time.
After adding extras, you need to Refresh Metadata of the whole show. Scanning the library won’t do it.

I removed the “-other” and rescanned but still no video. Refresh Metadata was the key and that did it! Oh my goodness, can’t believe scanning doesn’t pick up the new file… thank you so much!
