TV Show Extras not showing up

Server Version#: 1.32.4.7195
Player Version#: Web

Hi,

I can’t seem to get the extras to show up for a particular show.
I followed the instructions on naming conventions here:
https://support.plex.tv/articles/local-files-for-tv-show-trailers-and-extras/

The folder is structured like this:

The IT Crowd
   -> Season 1
      --> S01E01.mkv, E02, etc
   -> Behind the Scenes
      -->Behind the IT Crowd.mkv
   -> Deleted Scenes
      -->Deleted Scenes.mkv
   -> Other
      --> Menu1.mkv
      --> Menu2.mkv
      --> Menu3.mkv
      --> Menu4.mkv
   -> Shorts
      --> Hello Friend.mkv

The episodes show up fine.
The library scanner and agent are set to “Plex TV Series”
“Use Local Assets” is turned on
“Find Extras” is turned on (I bought a plex pass as it says that’s required)

I tried a suggestion from a similar thread and did “The Plex Dance” and cleaned the old bundles, scanned again, and still no luck.

Any suggestions welcome!

Looks like the formatting/indentation of my post didn’t come across as intended, but all the extras are in appropriately named sub-folders of the main show (not in the season sub folder).

The web app doesn’t show season-level extras, yet.

For Plex to scan for newly added local extras, you need to Refresh Metadata of the whole show. (i.e. not “Scan Library”)

Thanks for the reply.

I’m not using season-level extras though, the extras are the top level folder for the show.
(Sorry for the bad formatting)

I have it set like this:
IT Crowd > Behind the Scenes > Behind the IT Crowd.mkv

I also clicked “refresh all metadata” as suggested, no luck so far

How does the full folder path look like?
It will only work if there is only one immediate folder level above of IT Crowd, which must be the very folder that has been added to the TV Shows library.

See if “Use local assets” is activated.
“Find extras” is only for extras which you don’t add as local files.

The library root is:
/mnt/bubsraid/media/Video/AV1/TV

The full filesystem path to the show is:
/mnt/bubsraid/media/Video/AV1/TV/I/The IT Crowd

“Use Local Assets” is enabled.

It will only work if there is only one immediate folder level above of IT Crowd, which must be the very folder that has been added to the TV Shows library.

This is the cause exactly.
Putting the show in the top folder fixed it.

I don’t really want all my shows in one giant folder (they are already organized into sub folders by letter) - so what I ended up doing was adding each individual “letter” sub folder to the library.

Took a little bit to re-scan but it’s all there, including the extras.

Thank you for the help!
