Local Files for Trailers and Extras not recognized via network path

Server Version#: 1.20.3.3401

I followed the guide and used the ‘‘Organized in Subdirectories’’ approach:

Folder structure:
\\SYNOLOGY24\G\Movies\The Expendables 2 (2012)
\\SYNOLOGY24\G\Movies\The Expendables 2 (2012)\Deleted Scenes
\\SYNOLOGY24\G\Movies\The Expendables 2 (2012)\Scenes

This was supposed to be fixed in PMS 1.20.2.3402 already. Plex Media Server

Did this happen with items which had already been added to the library with an older server software version?
Are you using the command line scanner interface and let it scan only one particular movie folder (e.g. \\SYNOLOGY24\G\Movies\The Expendables 2 (2012))?

That version fixed local media assets such as local posters etc. But extras such as trailers, deleted scenes etc are not working it seems.
I tried using the PS cmd:
& ‘.\Plex Media Scanner.exe’ --scan --directory \\SYNOLOGY24\G\Movies\The Expendables 2 (2012)
But I’m not getting any output and when the cmd is done nothing is changed.

Local extras are “Local Assets” as well. The fix was supposed to work for all types of local assets.

No, scanning just a single movie folder with the command line would trigger the issue. Don’t do that. If you did that, the extras might appear as standalone items in the library. (Clear that up by triggering a regular ‘Scan Library Files’)

Just Refresh Metadata of this movie.

Ok I see.

You are correct, ‘Refresh Metadata’ in the WebUI seems to do the trick, files got added instantly.

Cheers!
