You need to put your editions in their own folder. The scanner needs to know which edition the extras are under. So move your Director’s Cut to: E:\Movies\Fantasy\Legend (1986) {edition-Directors Cut}\Legend (1986) {edition-Directors Cut}.mp4

Yes! That was it! Thank you. I ended up making a second copy of the extras to live in the Director’s Cut folder, but I get why it’s set up that way as one could have extras that only pertain to one edition of a movie. Love this feature… it’s been needed for a long time. I wish the edition tags …
