Local Movie Extras not being recognized

I noticed that you should be able to add movie extras within the Local Media Assets - Movies page on the plex support page. However, this does not seem to work for me for some reason. I have tried putting it in a folder as it states as well as trying to place it alongside the movie (there are no spaces between the hyphen and the word interview as well). I am using google drive as my cloud storage with my plex pass. I would like to figure out the reason so I can move forward on taking the time to include this part alongside my archives that I have been doing.

I know I have seen some people do this with episodic series as well and just add all of them in a season 00 but I would like to keep movies in movies and TV shows separate.

Also here is what my settings look like if that makes a difference as well. Also I don’t know why it says this when I click on the gear for the local media assets ([why is it asking for a “music video path”](https://imgur.com/esc0iWu “why is it asking for a “music video path””))

Television extras do go in “Season 0” or “Specials”.
Movie extras go in the directory with the movie.

It is necessary to keep TV and Movie directory trees separate. It they are commingled, the most bizarre results (mis-matched files) will occur.

For Movies:

Movie (year)/
  Movie (year).ext
Some Extra-type.ext (type = scene, interview, behindthescenes, etc as listed in the LMA documentation)

For TV, we use

Series/
  Season 0 (or Specials)/
    Series - S00E101 - Title
Series - S00E410 - Title Tenth extra for Season 4.

The numbering in Season 0/Specials is artificial but it does work very nicely.

Does this help?

ok, something made a single file visible but it appears twice on under the extras heading. It also is using the full folder location as its name like this (google:/Media/Movies/MovieName/Name-type.mp4) instead of just it’s name and what type of extra it is.

I am also having an issue playing it as well with the playback error (Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.)

Also, Should I change the extension of my video files to what it looks like above in your reply (.ext) instead of (.mp4, .m4v, etc) for the (extras/bonus features).

Please give me an a real example one of your files, inclusive of directory. I will help you with proper structure. If you have a lot which ultimately needs renaming / restructuring, there are tools (TheRenamer and FileBot) which GREATLY simplify this by performing the internet lookup for you thereby ensuring a match with PMS.

The movie I am trying this out with first is structured like so

Michelle’s Movies/
You’ve Got Mail/
You’ve Got Mail.mp4
You’ve Got Chemistry-interview.mp4

For some odd reason each time I redo the file structure (take the movie folder of “You’ve Got Mail”, refresh library by scanning it and then placing it back in) plex sees the movie and is fine but sees the -interview file alongside it and it places another instance like this in the extras. Keep in mind that I am not even able to view it for some reason as when I click it to play it, the error pops up as mentioned in my past reply.

Where are these files stored? Locally or on google?

Also is this Plex Cloud or your local server?

They are stored on my google drive > so plex Cloud.

Local Extras are not supported in Plex Cloud
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/226825168-FAQ-Plex-Cloud

Is there a spot already where people are requesting that this should be an added feature for plex cloud or am I the first one, now that I know this is at the moment not supported?
