Server doesn’t even start folks. I can’t do anything if the server won’t start.
open a terminal session
go to /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
Create a tar.gz of the Logs directory and then attach that tar.gz here.
So I got the server to log back in. I had to go in a change the setting too allow unsecure connection on local network. I had this previously to never allow unsecure connection. Once I changed that I was able to log in and have the local network responding again.
I want remote hosts to connect securely as I dont want the IP provider snooping.
So here is how I have the server setup after I changed the setting to allow insecure connection on the nvidia shield plex settings. It made me think I could get my older LG tv app that will not connect securely to connect insecurely. Do I need to change secured connections to preferred? I want to enforce all external connections as encrypted always. but internally I do not care.
Hello everyone,
I am in Italy and I have this very same issue all of a sudden, with Plex on my Nvidia Shield. I found this out yesterday, I can login but I can’t see the Server section. Is this related with the issues on plex.tv?
Thanks
