I apologize as I saw a post about this last night but was unable to locate it this morning. Since the recent update, the plex app on my xb1 is detecting the local plex server as remote, not sure if this is contributing to my poor video quality as well (looks like my 1080p content is standard def). All others (iOS and roku) are able to detect this just fine and look great. I saw there was a mention of a pre-release fix for this in that other post from moussa, please advise.
I’m looking for the same pre release, I wrote to @Moussa but he has’t answer yet! Same issue here in italy
I had to disable forcing https for my local server to not act as a remote. Set it to preferred but not required. Never was an issue previously with the xbox app
I added my local server into the manual server list in the Xbox app and then it showed up as nearby
